Call for Presenters
Rhode Island School Counselor Association
Monday, November 2, 2026
The Crowne Plaza, Warwick, RI
Dear Colleague,
RISCA is excited to host our annual Fall Conference on Monday, November 2, 2026, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
Although Rhode Island is small, we know it’s full of passionate, innovative school counselors doing powerful work in their schools and districts.
Our focus areas for ramplifying student success include:
Academic Success
Comprehensive and Data-Informed Counseling Programs
College and Career Readiness
Social-Emotional Learning and Mental Health
This year’s theme, “Ramplify for Student Success,” challenges us to elevate our impact—sharing strategies, stories, and tools that not only support students, but expand and strengthen the reach of school counseling programs across our state.
We invite you to present a 60-minute breakout session at the conference. Whether presenting solo or as part of a team, your voice and expertise can help ramplify best practices, inspire colleagues, and drive meaningful outcomes for students. Sessions typically reach up to 30 counselors.
If you're interested, please complete the Call for Proposals Form by August 14, 2026.
For more information about the conference—including opportunities for exhibiting or sponsoring—please visit our website atwww.rischoolcounselor.org. You can also fill out your call for proposals for presenting at the conference here: https://forms.gle/dwV8D65cVSxg2QKi8

We hope you’ll join us as we Ramplify for Student Success—working together to elevate our practice and expand our impact for all students across Rhode Island.
Warm regards,
Joseph Batiano
