Career Resource Guide
The Rhode Island School Counselor Association cordially invites you to contribute to this new resource under development. Join the RISCA Board, Kathy Sisson (Program Planner for WayToGoRI.com), and Lizann Gibson-Cayouette (Educational Consultant) as we collaborate on this new venture.

The K-12 Career Resource Guide will include career lessons for all levels, career fair / career day examples and templates, career information and activities from WayToGoRI.com, career web sites, and labor market information resources for Rhode Island.

How can you contribute? You can contribute by sending in a career lesson (using the RISCA template from Toolkit #2), or details on organizing a career fair. The deadline for contributions is May 1, 2009. A small honorarium is available for each contribution.

An example lesson plan called "A Career Investigation: Is This Career For You?" has been prepared by Belinda Wilkerson. It is available in "Word" or pdf formats.
